West Virginia University alumni and friends are being encouraged to make a gift to the University on Wednesday, Nov. 13, as part of the third annual WVU Day of Giving.

The WVU Foundation is organizing the 24-hour online fundraising event as a convenient way for supporters to contribute to the University. Last year, over $6 million was raised.

West Virginia University alumni Joe and Gina Wells became the newest members of the WVU Alumni Tower Society by making a $50,000 contribution to the WVU Alumni Association, helping to retire the building debt of The Erickson Alumni Center.

Beloved by so many, Tonya Cesa was a 20-year-old West Virginia University sophomore when she tragically died in a car accident in 2018. Now, her family is honoring her by creating the Tonya R. Cesa Creative Arts Photography Travel Endowment.
